Tonight, Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth fame, will discuss his new book No Wave at McNally Bookstore (52 Prince St. b/t Lafayette & Mulberry). Sonic Youth biographer and journalist, David Browne, will accompany Moore in a discussion about the collision of the underground art and punk scene of New York in the 70s and 80s, and the influence Sonic Youth made on the revolutionary subculture.
