Believe it or not (believe it) Ikea is set to open in Red Hook, Brooklyn June 18th. Now all you contemporary furniture fiends with modest salaries, can stock up on flimsy furniture that looks good but probably won’t last that long. Don’t worry; I’m one of them. And if you don’t care so much about rickety furniture, then hell, go for the Swedish meatballs! It's a ferry ride away...
