As mentioned, artist Elizabeth Peyton has her first U.S. retrospective on display at The New Museum of Contemporary Art. 100+ works are up, with a new addition titled 'Michelle Obama', which was painted prior to Obama's elect. Peyton decided that she would either put it up or not, depending on the election outcome. Now it's joyously up for all to view, thanks to a historical Tuesday night.
